Our Identity

II Kings 5:1-14 proclaims the good news that our identity, security and significance is not based on our work, but on consenting to God's work. Jesus exposes the lies that we labor under: We are what we do, have, and/or what others think/say about us. God calls us out from these false stories of identity into relationship with him that is one of consenting to his work already done and continually being done in our lives.
