Gaming and Blackness with Dr. Akil Fletcher

Dr. Akil Fletcher is an anthropologist and gamer who researches the connections between race and online gaming and their influences on each other. Most recently, Dr. Fletcher taught a course at Princeton called “Gaming Blackness: The Anthropology of Video Games and Race.” In Season 2, Episode 2 of Nerds at Work w/ TsundEri, Dr. Fletcher shares his love of video games, the connections he's found between Blackness and gaming, and using games to teach his students.
