SUPERMAN’s James Gunn Shares His Love and the Backstory For Lex Luthor’s Creation Mr. Handsome

Director James Gunn shared a behind-the-scenes photo from the first table read of the new Superman movie, revealing a fun backstory about Nicholas Hoult, who will play Lex Luthor.

In the post, Gunn explained that during the secret audition process, Hoult was given the code name "Mr. Handsome" to protect his identity. The photo accompanying the story features Hoult alongside the film's stars, David Corenswet (Superman) and Rachel Brosnahan (Lois Lane).
