The character, whose real name is Jaina Hudson, is a relatively modern DC villain introduced in 2011. She is an eccentric and unpredictable escape artist obsessed with Alice's Adventures in Wonderland and has the metahuman ability to split into two separate bodies.

This casting is significant as it introduces White Rabbit into Gunn's new DC Universe (DCU). The article notes that Peacemaker season two will take place after the events of the upcoming Superman film, officially transitioning the show and its characters into the new DCU continuity.
