Kevin Feige Said He’s ‘Never Been Satisfied’ With an MCU Movie

In comments from the book The Marvels: The Official Movie Special, Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige revealed that he has never been "100% happy" with any MCU movie.

He describes his creative philosophy as being "pleasingly dissatisfied." Feige explained that while the audience sees the final, polished film, he is intimately aware of the entire creative process, including the compromises, cut scenes, and alternative ideas that didn't make the final version. He sees the "cracks" in the finished product that the public doesn't.

Feige compared his perspective to that of a chef who knows every minor imperfection in a dish they've prepared, even if the diner loves it. This constant state of slight dissatisfaction is not a negative trait but rather the driving force behind the MCU's success, as it fuels his relentless push to improve and make the next project even better.
