Jason Momoa Says He’s ‘Coming Back’ as Duncan Idaho For DUNE 3

Jason Momoa has expressed strong enthusiasm about potentially returning as Duncan Idaho in a hypothetical Dune: Part Three. In an interview with Men's Health, Momoa acknowledged his character's death in Dune: Part One but showed awareness of the character's future in Frank Herbert's books.

He specifically referenced Duncan Idaho's return in the novel Dune Messiah (which would be the basis for Dune 3) where the character is resurrected as a Ghola (a type of clone). Momoa called this possibility "awesome" and indicated it would be a "good future" for him if the film series continues and follows that storyline.
