Here’s Your First Look at Nicolas Cage’s SPIDER-NOIR

The article announces that Nicolas Cage will star as Spider-Man Noir in a live-action series, officially titled  Cage previously voiced this character in the animated film Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse.

The series will be set in 1930s New York City and will feature an "aging and down on his luck private investigator" who is "forced to grapple with his past life as the city’s one and only superhero." It's confirmed that this series will not feature other Spider-Man characters and will be a standalone story, separate from the MCU.

Phil Lord, Christopher Miller, and Amy Pascal (producers of the Spider-Verse films) are executive producing. Oren Uziel (who developed the show with Lord and Miller) and Steve Lightfoot (The Punisher) will serve as co-showrunners and executive producers. Harry Bradbeer (FleabagEnola Holmes) will direct and executive produce the first two episodes.

The series will debut domestically on MGM+'s linear channel before becoming available globally on Prime Video.
