First Photos from THE OLD GUARD 2 Show Charlize Theron and Fellow Immortals Ready for Battle

Netflix has released the first official photos for the highly anticipated sequel, The Old Guard 2. The images confirm the return of the main cast, including Charlize Theron (Andy), KiKi Layne (Nile), Marwan Kenzari (Joe), Luca Marinelli (Nicky), Matthias Schoenaerts (Booker), and Chiwetel Ejiofor (Copley).

Crucially, the photos also prominently feature Ngô Thanh Vân as Quynh, confirming her character's significant role in the sequel following her reveal at the end of the first film.

The sequel is directed by Victoria Mahoney, taking over from the first film's director Gina Prince-Bythewood (who remains involved as a producer).

New cast members announced previously, Uma Thurman and Henry Golding, are also confirmed, although their specific roles remain under wraps.

While plot specifics are not detailed, the return of Quynh strongly suggests the film will deal with the ramifications of her reappearance and her history with Andy. The photos tease more action and the continued dynamics within the immortal team.

The Old Guard 2, based on the comic book series by Greg Rucka and Leandro Fernández, does not yet have an official release date but will premiere on Netflix.
