Darth Vader’s Lightsaber Just Sold for Nearly $4 Million

Darth Vader's lightsaber, wielded by David Prowse in "The Empire Strikes Back" and "Return of the Jedi," was sold for $3.9 million at a Propstore auction on September 4, 2025. This sale set a new record for the highest price ever paid for a "Star Wars" prop at auction. The auction also featured other notable sales, including Harrison Ford's whip from "Indiana Jones" and Patrick Stewart's Ressikan flute from "Star Trek: The Next Generation".
