I revisit an interview with Sam Roberts, CEO of cafe chain, Boston Tea Party, who took the bold and mindful decision to place their higher purpose over their profit. As we hear, there was an in initial financial hit, directly as a result of this decision. Very quickly the brand equity and loyalty far out-performed their expectations.
