The farm.

My name is Kees. I am 19 years old. I live in Groningen in a farmhouse together with my father, mother and my sister Eva. Eva is 17 years old. My father is a farmer. My mother is a farmer's wife. 
A farm is a house with lots of grass around it. We call that grass a meadow. When the weather is nice, our cows are in the meadow. Sometimes there are as many as 100 cows in the meadow. All the cows have a name.
My favourite cow is called Klara. Klara gives the most milk. Do you know how much milk Klara gives a day?
Sometimes up to 28 litres! That's 28 bottles of milk.
Every day I get up at 5 o'clock to milk the cows with my father. That's very early. Still, I want to become a farmer later. With the milk from my cows, I want to make butter and cheese and sell it. Kees's cheese. That sounds good, doesn't it?
