Solo: Autism Character Strengths

This episode is dedicated to my grandmother, who sadly passed away in February. It was recorded on the 23rd of May 2024, when she would have turned 84 years old.

On the same day, I had my first questionnaire interview as part of the Autism Character Strengths research study in which I am participating. I share the way I felt when I froze, as I was asked what my autistic daughter's strengths are.

I admitted that I still need to focus on what's negative about her and acknowledged that this is something I am committed to work towards changing in myself. I outlined all her strengths and compared this situation with my grandmother having been the first person finding one of my strengths, because she always believed.
