Ashley Watts struggled with these questions and more after a life-altering moment left her with dashed hopes and dreams, and in brokenness that looked beyond repair. But she also discovered that even in life's deepest disappointments, there's a loving God ready to provide hope for your future and healing to your soul. In Not Another Fairy Tale, Ashley invites us into her own journey of faith, with courage and vulnerability, and helps us to see our identity is found in Jesus, not in perfect "scripts and scenes." Whether we're dealing with daily trials or life-changing events, we can find rest in knowing we are destined for a love that heals, restores, and never rejects.

Ashley Watts loves being "mom" to her four children: Parker, Cruze, Breck, and Carli. She is an elementary school teacher turned writer and speaker. In conjunction with her book series, Ashley is heavily involved in Peace Runs Deep, a space for herself and others to be encouraged in faith and identity. She felt called to create a place to bring authenticity and truth to the reality of our lives and to focus on 'being' and less on doing. Ashley enjoys being active and, when she's not writing, can be found on the lake, at the gym, sipping coffee, and running around with her kids and new pup, River.
