In this episode, I interview Bishop Michael Pitts as we discuss his book Fault Lines: Things That Shake You Don't Have To Break You. Fault lines are the unstable beliefs and values we build our lives on. When we find our value system shifting and the ground beneath us shaking, the unsettling feeling that what we were pursuing is not what we are now pursuing produces a chasm between what we once thought and what we now think. You cannot avoid the shifts of life, but you can survive and emerge stronger.

Bishop Michael Pitts is an international apostle and the founder and Senior Pastor of Cornerstone Church. He is also the founder and Overseer of Cornerstone Global Network, which includes churches located across the United States, South Africa, Argentina, Colombia, and Mexico.

Bishop Pitts and his wife, Pastor Kathi, reside in Toledo, OH. They have two children; Meredith (married to Philip) and Stephen Michael, and one grandson, Theodore Brave. Michael has authored over a dozen books. In 1986, Michael and Kathi founded Cornerstone Church with a $1,000 gift from their parents, a Bible, and the desire to see God build a church where people from all backgrounds could gather together and experience the redemptive love of God. That same early passion that ignited their journey continues to fuel it forward today.
