In this episode, I bring on astronaut Sara Sabry. Sara Sabry is an accomplished astronaut, engineer, and advocate for increasing accessibility and diversity in the space industry. She has made history as the first Egyptian astronaut, the first Arab woman in space, and the first woman from the African continent to go to space. Sabry is the founder and executive director of Deep Space Initiative (DSI), a non-profit organization dedicated to increasing accessibility and opportunity in the space field while enabling deep space exploration for all. She has been recognized with the IAF Emerging Space Leader award for her humanitarian efforts in the field.
