In this episode of Navigate The Day, we explore the idea that holding onto anger and resentment is not worth it in the long run. We are encouraged to take a step back and think about the bigger picture, and to consider the examples of others who have been consumed by negativity. By doing so, we can gain a new perspective on our own emotions and learn to let go of things that are not serving us well.
The journal prompt asks us to consider whether we will even remember a fight in a few months. We are reminded that most fights are forgotten shortly thereafter, and that holding onto grudges and resentment can hurt us in the long run. We are encouraged to reframe our relationship with money, embrace the lack of structure in our day jobs, and approach life as a game to be played smarter. By taking the time to reflect on what fights are worth fighting, we can sort through our priorities and make sure we're not fighting uphill battles that aren't worth it in the first place. Remember, life is not linear, and it's better to enjoy the present and let go of the external noise that is not serving us well.
