2025 September 04 - NGC 4565: Galaxy on Edge

In today's image, we see the spiral galaxy known as NGC 4565. This is a spiral galaxy seen edge-on from Earth. We can see the thin disk of the galaxy, giving it a more popular nickname of the Needle Galaxy.
