2025 September 03 - Cir X-1: Jets in the Africa Nebula

In today's image, we see recently studied jets within the Africa Nebula around the neutron star - the x-ray source of Cir X-1. New studies show that the jets form early after the supernova and that they are more powerful than previously thought.
