2025 January 13 - Comet ATLAS Before Sunrise

In today's image, we see comet ATLAs as seen before sunrise recently. While currently rather bright, it is also hidden by the glare of the Sun. We shall see over the next week or two if it will survive the passage near the Sun and if so, how bright it will become as it gets farther away.
