2025 January 02 - Solar Analemma 2024

In today's image, we see an analemma of the Sun from images taken in 2024. The figure-8 pattern is due to a combination of the tilt of Earth's axis and the ellipticity of Earth's orbit which cause the Sun's position to change over the course of a year.
