2024 November 13 - Barred Spiral Galaxy NGC 1365 from Webb

In today's image, we see the Barred Spiral Galaxy known as NGC 1365 as imaged recently by the James Webb Space telescope. This is images in the mid-infrared, giving us a different view of the telescope than we see with an ordinary optical telescope.
