2024 May 24 - M78 from the Euclid Space Telescope

In today's image, we see the star forming region known as M78 as imaged in visible and infrared light from the Euclid Space Telescope. This telescope was launched last year and will be used to study the effects of dark matter and dark energy on our universe.
