2024 December 08 - Aurora around Saturn's North Pole

In today's image, we see the planet Saturn as imaged by the Hubble Space Telescope. Here we can see the auroral activity around the pole of the planet caused by charged particles from the Sun which are directed by the magnetic field of the planet.
