2024 April 28 - Rings Around the Ring Nebula

In today's image, we see a very deep image of the Ring Nebula as observed by multiple large telescopes. This allows for the imaging of fainter rings around the traditional Ring Nebula we normally observe. Learning more about this type of nebula will help us to better understand the final fate of stars like our own Sun.
