2023 April 28 - Runaway Star Alpha Camelopardalis

In today's image, we see the runaway star known as Alpha Camelopardalis. The star is moving at an extremely high speed. This may be the result of gravitational interactions in a cluster or the explosion of a companion star as a supernova.
