In today's image, we see the dark nebula known by its catalog designation of LDN 673. This is an example of a dark nebula in which star formation is currently going on. We also see a Herbig-Haro object, also associated with young stars and cause by the outlaw of jets of material as they strike and energize material surrounding the young star.
