2022 October 24 - Clouds around Galaxy Andromeda

In today's image, we see the Andromeda Galaxy, the nearest large spiral galaxy to our own Milky Way. In the very deep exposure, we see the red emission of hydrogen gas. Some of these gas clouds are associated with the Andromeda Galaxy and others are associated with our own Milky Way but happen to lie in the same direction in the sky.
