2022 October 20 - Pillars of Creation

In today's image, we see the Pillars of Creation a part of the Eagle Nebula star forming region. The pillars are shaped by recently formed stars. The energy from these stars eats away at the less dense areas and leaves behind the denser areas of gas and dust.
