2022 October 02 - Supernova Cannon Expels Pulsar J0002

In today's image, we see a supernova remnant from a star that exploded 10,000 years ago. For some reason, not completely understood, the pulsar was expelled outward like a cannonball from a cannon and can be seen heading toward the lower left of the image.
