In today's image, we see Wolf-Rayet star 18 and its surrounding nebula. The nebula is asymmetric - brighter to the upper right and fainter to the lower left. While this was originally believed to be cause by the motion of the star, more recent measurements show that it is more likely due to differences in density of the interstellar medium in different parts of the nebula.
