2022 November 06 - Dark Ball in Inverted Starfield

In today's image, we see our Sun in an image taken in the light of hydrogen, converted to black and white and then inverted to give a negative image. This is then placed on a negative image of a field of stars. We se many prominences on the Sun in this image associated with heightened solar activity from 2012. We are approaching another maximum of solar activity over the next couple of years.
