2022 November 04 - InSight's Final Selfie

In today's image, we see a selfie taken by the InSight lander on Mars. The mission of this lander is to study the interior of Mars through seismic waves from marsquakes. This allows us to determine what the interior must be like by the way the seismic waves travel through it. It is likely the final selfie as the solar panels are becoming caked with dust from Martian winds and will soon no longer be able to provide power to the lander.
