2022 December 22 - NGC 1365: Majestic Island Universe

In today's image, we see NGC 1365, an example of a barred spiral galaxy. As with any spiral galaxy, we see the blue color of the spiral arms and the pink glow of the hydrogen regions that highlight the star formation within the spiral arms.
