Dasakam 020 - Sloka 03

नाभिप्रियायामथ मेरुदेव्यां त्वमंशतोऽभू: ॠषभाभिधान: ।

अलोकसामान्यगुणप्रभाव- प्रभाविताशेषजनप्रमोद: ॥३॥

Nābhipriyāyāmatha merudevyāṁ

Tvam aṁśato'bhūḥ ṛṣabhābhidhānaḥ ।

Alokasāmānyaguṇaprabhāva-

Prabhāvitāśeṣajanapramodaḥ ॥3॥

நாபிப்ரியாயாமத மேருதே³வ்யாம்

த்வம் அஂஶதோ'பூ: ருஷபாபிதா³ன: ।

அலோகஸாமான்யகுணப்ரபா³வ-

ப்ரபா³விதாஶேஷஜநப்ரமோத: ॥3॥

नाभि-प्रियायाम्-अथto Naabhi's dear wife, thenमेरुदेव्यांnamed Merudeviत्वम्-अंशत:-अभू:Thou as a part incarnation were bornॠषभ-अभिधान:with the name Rishabhaअलोक-सामान्य-गुण-प्रभावendowed with sublime and rare virtuesप्रभावित-अशेष-जन-प्रमोद:causing to countless people great delight (with Thy glory)

Then Thou were born as a part incarnation with the name Rishabha to Merudevi the wife of Naabhi. Thou delighted everyone with sublime virtues and glory not commonly seen in the world.
