प्रचेतसां तावदयाचतामपि त्वमेव कारुण्यभराद्वरानदा: ।
भवद्विचिन्ताऽपि शिवाय देहिनां भवत्वसौ रुद्रनुतिश्च कामदा ॥७॥
Pracetasāṁ tāvadayācatāmapi
Tvameva kāruṇyabharādvarānadāḥ ।
Bhavadvicintā'pi śivāya dehināṁ
Bhavatvasau rudranutiśca kāmadā ॥7॥
ப்ரசேதஸாம் தாவதயாசதாமபி
த்வமேவ காருண்யப⁴ராத்வரான³தா: ।
ப⁴வத்விசிந்தா'பி ஶிவாய தே³ஹிநாம்
ப⁴வத்வஸௌ ருத்ரநுதிஶ்ச காமதா ॥7॥
प्रचेतसां तावत्-to the Prachetas, thenअयाचताम्-अपिthough unsought forत्वम्-एव कारुण्य-भरात्-Thou Thyself out of infinite compassionवरान्-अदा:gave boonsभवत्-विचिन्ता-अपिeven the thought of Theeशिवाय देहिनां भवतु-may be for the benefit of the humansअसौ रुद्रनुति:-चthis Rudra hymn alsoकामदा (भवतु)may be a fulfiller of desires
Out of Thy infinite compassion, Thou gave the Prachetas boons,even without their asking. May even Thy thought be for the benefit of the humans and confer welfare on them, and may the Rudra hymn be the fulfiller of all desires.
