Trouble pronouncing these names? Or just can't be bothered?

THIS EPISODE:

The English and Americans seem to have trouble pronouncing simple names like Aman and Ali and Amena and Amna and Shahid when they have no trouble pronouncing names like szabinsky. Is this deliberate? All the sounds are available in the English phonetics, so where is the problem?
