Punjab Losses: Is This A Joke?

CHENAB floods various villages and towns. Jhang is next in line. More than 17000 villages have been flooded. All this devastation and people are helping each other left on their own so where is the army and the govt conducting their rescue ops? In Lahore as well people are on their own helping each other with no real tools. Does the govt take it as a joke? People's lives and losses are joke? They are too busy playing politics. And now they have announced that they will be releasing water into the canal near us which has people expecting flooding.
