On this weeks show I welcome Adam Benedict to the show to discuss his fabulous new book, Oddities in Print, the third book of his brilliant "In Print" series.



Adam has trawled historical newspaper articles from the 19th and early 20th century to uncover some of the strangest and peculiar articles you will have ever read and both of us chuckle at some these lost gems.



We discuss a strange group of people who appear from nowhere, the earliest report of the killer giants living in the Okefenoke swamp, strange footprints, phantoms that instil fear, a dog that plays dominoes, a freaky table, balls of fire, a gopher headed chicken and the frankly crazy case of the human cucumber.
