This week, Kim and Richard join me to chat about breast reconstructions. Breast cancer is actually the most commonly diagnosed cancer in Australia and approximately 40% of women diagnosed with breast cancer have a mastectomy. Recently, there’s been some blowback from patients who complained they weren’t given the option to opt for a reconstruction at vital stages in their recovery journey so we chat about your options and what a breast reconstruction actually entails... it's juicy.
