Nothing like good old victim shaming. The blame game is alive and well. Blaming and shaming is low hanging fruit. Inevitably the victim will be blamed for the violation that they experienced. From "where are the receipts?" to "where were her parents?" Society is often looking for a way to take the onus off of the perpetrator(s).
