Interview: The Finnish Flash, Former NHL Star Teemu Selanne

Please join me for my first episode of 2022 as I sit down with our friend NHL Star, Teemu Selanne.

If you aren’t familiar with him – here’s a little background.  Teemu is one of the best hockey players of all time, known as the ‘Finnish Flash’ because of his speed on the ice.  He is  a former NHL player for the Winnipeg Jets, Anaheim Ducks, San Jose Sharks & the Colorado Avalanche.  He won the Stanley Cup in 2007 & is truly one of the most genuine people you’ll ever meet.  He is still loved by his fans, won Olympic medals for his home country of Finland and was inducted in the Hockey Hall of Fame in 2017.  8 years ago, he and his wife, Sirpa opened up their first restaurant in Laguna Beach, CA called Selanne Steak Tavern.  He is a dad of 4, our neighbor of over 20 years and lifelong friend! 

We talk about how it all started, what it takes to succeed in life & his secret to stamina, going for your dreams and what’s next for him.
