About Karla

Karla Garcia Teruel is Founder of Growth Empowered a global coaching services firm. Karla’s passion is to empower social impact leaders to grow as individuals, overcome challenges and harness opportunities so that they can achieve the impact they seek to have in the world. Karla is originally from Mexico but has lived in a total of 9 countries across the Americas, Europe, Asia and Australia. This helps her bring to her coaching a multicultural sensitivity and global mindset. She also has a unique mix of experience in both psychology and business. Karla holds a Masters in Coaching Psychology from the University of Sydney and an MBA from INSEAD. Finally, she has worked in diverse work environments from global corporations to family business, to startups. Including experience as an impact investor and as the executive director of a social impact startup. Finally, she is passionate about not only empowering others in their growth journey, but also in continuing to grow and develop herself.
