S4-38 MORE THAN BREAD & WINE

Jesus celebrated the Passover meal with his disciples: “And he took bread, and gave thanks, and {broke} it, and gave unto them, saying, this
is my body which is given for you: do this in remembrance of me” (Luke 22:19). That last meal together was essential to Jesus. He was their pastor and teacher—they were his little flock. Jesus stressed, “I have desired to eat this Passover with you before I suffer” (v.15).

 Likewise, Brother Singh desires to be with his little flock to commemorate our Passover meal, for he has a true shepherd’s heart. In this notable lesson, our teacher takes us beyond the religious symbolism of a communion service to explain why we need to share this observance together.
