S3-147 UNDERMINING GOD'S ETERNAL PURPOSE

The purpose of the church is not to entertain us spiritually. Instead, the church is to change our lives so we can live holily before God. The Apostle Paul wrote: "According as he {Father God} hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love: Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will" (Ephesians 1:4-5). Brother Singh emphasizes changing our lives. Change is conversion.
