#99 SELF EXAMINATION & SPIRITUAL GOALS

In this practical lesson, brother Singh shows that every believer must make "pro & con" choices to reach their spiritual goals. Paul wrote, "Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove yourselves." (2 Corinthians 13:5) The apostle continued, "Test yourselves. Do you not realize that Jesus Christ is in you? That is unless you fail to meet the test!" (Paraphrased)

Knowing whether or not we are in "the faith" is critical. Brother Singh has warned about following another gospel or another Jesus. In these last days, fake messengers will present choices to us. We will have to decide to follow the truth or a lie. We will have to decide whether to cling to our earthly comfort and security or to trust the promises of Christ. If we are not established and grounded in faith today, we will not make the right choices under duress tomorrow.
