Today, Sunday, a legal expert considered that the Iraqi parliament session dedicated to electing the new president of the republic has become "suspended" as a result of the recent Federal Supreme Court decision regarding the nomination of Hoshyar Zebari.
Ali Al-Tamimi told Shafaq News Agency, "The state order of the Federal Court, which was issued today, not only stopped the candidacy of Hoshyar Zebari, but also stopped all the procedures of the parliament session dedicated to electing the new president of the republic."
