My Amazing Mess is a podcast hosted by actor and producer Laura Allen and singer/songwriter and actor Liv Austen. Every Friday we release our Messy Musings, where we discuss different aspects of being a self employed creative. As we approach the last episode of season 1 of My Amazing Mess, we talk about what "taking a break" means for creatives and self employed people, how we often don't rest because we feel guilty or pressured in to working non stop, and how we've found that it's often when we are off the clock that things start to make the most sense.
