Happy New Year everyone! It’s 2020, which means it's been a full year since I started this Podcast and I am so grateful for the community we have created and continue to grow! I wanted to share some of the most valuable and memorable lessons I learned in 2019 that may help you in moving forward during this brand new decade.Time Heals: This is something that you will often hear if you’ve lost someone or words of condolences you will offer if someone in your life has lost someone they love. In the moment, hearing these words certainly doesn’t take away the pain, but it is a really great reminder to remember this to be true.Follow your Gut: I encourage you to listen to your gut feeling, even when others may not understand. Your gut feelings (otherwise known as your intuition) is a feeling we get from within that many of us will try our best to ignore or pretend it's not there. But no matter how much you ignore those feelings, they will keep coming back until you listen.Community is Vital for Success: This one is new for me, but it truly has changed my perspective on so many aspects of my life and it is so much more fun to do things with other people. Working and living as a community can also be much more rewarding and can help a business soar.Live in the Moment: In the words of my Auntie, “Woulda shoulda coulda is a crazy make time!” This statement holds so much truth; the things we “wish we had done” can certainly cross our minds, but we cannot let them hang around! The past is the past, and if you can understand this whenever your mind tries to take you back to the “woulda, shoulda, coulda,” we can start to enjoy the now in a more peaceful and productive way. We are put on this Earth to live in the moment and enjoy the now.Movement is the Key to Positive Change: Movement is my go-to. It has been the thing that I can rely on when everything is a mess or when I’m feeling uncontrollable overwhelm. Even on some of the hardest days, I have found it so helpful to just get up and move my body.I am making the commitment to continues to incorporate these positive lessons in 2020, and also can’t wait to learn and live by more. I feel like this is going to be such a great year for all of us - can you feel the energy!? Always remember: This is a new day, a new year, and a new decade for you to create the adventures, the relationships and the life that you want to live.
