A new year (and decade!) is right around the corner and for most of us, it has us thinking of all we would like to accomplish once the new year hits. There’s something about the calendar turning to January 1st that can re-motivate us all over again, and I am feeling more ready than ever this year! One of the main things I want to focus on in the next decade is truly living every day to the fullest; finding more adventures, finding more meaningful relationships, mending old lost relationships, and honestly, just embracing this amazing thing we call life. I’m also going to be very intentional this year of what I want for myself today and in the near future. It’s very easy to stick to the grind and push through day after day, but working harder doesn’t automatically make you a better human. A few things I’ve decided to implement this year to prepare myself for the year to come is first, to NOT set any New Year’s Resolutions. Yes, you heard that right! I know myself well enough to know that I feel worse when I set goals, and don’t achieve them – and I definitely don’t want to feel like I’ve let myself down. Instead, I’m going to make a list of things that I want to do and the ways I want to show up for myself and others, and I’ll put this list up in a space where I will see it every day in my home! As I see this list more and more, it will become natural to me to feel those things are already how my life is, otherwise known as visualizing your highest self and then manifesting that they become your reality! Be intentional about what you write down – know your whys, and the how’s will come to you as you begin to believe in the goal and get emotional attached to them. If at all, in any capacity, you feel as though you can be doing better, let this be your year to make some changes and to create what it is that you're yearning for. You deserve any and all of the desires and dreams that you have, but it's up to you to find the space and energy to make it unravel and become your reality. I think we often play it small, but know that you hold the power to your life and your future. Perhaps this is the year you allow yourself to dream big. to make some promises to yourself and to allow yourself to dream big. Each obstacle we walk through in life is building us to become the warrior we were meant to be. So instead of focusing on the struggles of 2019, take a look at where you are today, and how you can continue to move forward in 2020. It is possible to hold everything you desire in your hands. Here’s a quote to wrap things up by Carl Bard. It says, “Although no one can go back and make a brand-new start, anyone can start now and make a brand-new ending.” You have the power to grow and evolve and to make an ending to be proud of. Go get it, warrior.MUVE FORWARD Wellness Program: https://www.muvelife.com/the-muvementMUVE FORWARD Website: https://www.muvelife.comINSTAGRAM: @muvelife
