The most common question I get asked by you guys is: How do I increase my energy? So in today’s episode, I’m sharing my four best tips on how to increase your energy and thus, build on your successes! First things first: Why it’s important to understand energy and shift it when it’s low. In short, when our energy levels are low, it’s hard to be in the right mindset to do the things we really want to do - and typically, those are the things we must do to help move us towards our goals. Increased energy, increased productivity, better results. Simple as that. On this episode we dive into: The truth about who we become when we’re in a low energy stateWhat optimal energy does for your body and mind and how it’s the catalyst to help build your success.My four tips for increasing your energy:Mindset: Paying attention to what words you’re using in self-talk, and also, how you talk to others. Are you using limiting phrases or negative words in your day to day life? The story you’re telling yourself will ultimately become your reality. So instead, try to shift this by affirming what you want instead of replaying how you currently feel. Eat for Energy: Food IS energy. Start increasing the nutrient value of the things you are consuming. Think: what are things you can ADD into your life (instead of focusing on what to eliminate). Move your Body: Every single day. And especially when you feel like you have low energy! Do this in whatever way feels best for you, just get out there and #muve! Laugh and lighten the mood: Stop taking yourself so seriously all the time. Change things up and be silly! Focus on something other than the unknowns and the sad things in life, because this can certainly be all-consuming of our energy supplies! The take-home: Low energy is one of the first signs that something in your body and mind is off; that something needs to change. And it’s up to you to decide to make a change.
